Product Description:
The primary use of the Concure Admixture is for below, on or above grade concrete slab. This type of admixture takes the guesswork out of where to use a vapor barrier. A key benefit is that it provides the architect and flooring manufactures a successful floor while reducing greatly the possibility of debonding of flooring materials due to moisture migration or capillary action from inside the slab. The Concure Admixture when used alone acts as a plasticizer, water reducer, creates high early benefits and eliminates the use of other types of admixtures all together. The Concure Admixture is environmentally safe and has zero VOC's.

Plasticizer:
Once the Concure Admixture is added to the mix design it will gel with the water to allow the concrete to be flexible at low slump.

Water Reducer:
The Concure Admixture is used in lieu of the partial water requirement. This in itself will eliminate bleed water (i.e. finishing is started as the concrete is placed).

Accelerator/High Early:
With the elimination of bleed water and the increased density of Concrete the admixture will accelerate the hydration time.

* Concure Admixture is used in lieu of water, not in addition. The water to cement ratio is critical. It is Imperative to stay close to the water to cement ratio. Using a low water to cement ratio. maintain a 6" slump with a super plasticizer as an additive and not water.

Dispensing:
The Concure Admixture is added at the batch plant or job site at 14 oz. per sack. Additional dosage may be required for an increase in high early benefits. The minimum amount to be added to any concrete mix design is 50 oz. Use non-chlorinated additives with the Concure Admixture such asaccelerators, plasticizers, and water reducers. *Air entrainment is not needed. *Retarders may be used when temperatures exceed 75°F.

Mixing:
"Batch Plant" Concure Admixture is poured into a clean empty drum with 25% of the water that is specified. Rotate drum for approx. 2 minutes to assure that admixture is disturbed. Then add the remainder of the water and dry mix (i.e. sand, cement, aggregate). Rotate drum for at least 5 minutes before discharge.

Mixing:
"Job Site" ; Add the Concure Admixture to the concrete truck and let drum rotate for at least one minute per cubic yard of concrete. For a ten yard mixer, allow at least ten minutes before discharge.
