Product Description:
LP-600 cement is a high strength and trowelable underlayment system, which is used for interior and exterior leveling and patching of substrates. These substrates include concrete, wood, cut back or VCT.  LP-600 is a polymer enhanced, Portland based product, that is gypsum free. Floor covering can be installed 6 hours after application of LP-600.

Basic Use:
LP-600 as an underlayment meets or exceeds the requirements of the floor covering industry.  LP-600 is used to create a smooth, flat, and level surface.  LP-600 is designed to be installed from a 1/16” to ¼” thickness per pass.  For installations that require greater depth, such as ½ inch or more, use 3/8” pea gravel or large clean silica sand as a filler.  LP-600 is compatible with all types of adhesives and floor coverings.

Multipurpose Use:
LP-600 is used as a patch for general concrete repairs as well as for exterior applications.  Examples include curbs, walk ways, loading docks and masonry walks. LP-600 is used for a variety of commercial and industrial applications.

Limitations:
Do not install below 40 degrees

Spread Rate:
One 40 lb. bag with 1 gallon of additive yields 40 sq. ft. @ ¼ inch thickness.

Surface Preparation:
Surface should be clean, dust free, structurally sound, and be free of excessive movement, waxes, sealers, release agents, or any foreign matter that would act as a bond breaker.  Adhesive residues should be thin, well bonded, and hard.  It is the responsibility of the applicator to determine that the integrity of the substrate is

suitable for a quality application.  On or below grade applications should be tested for moisture.

Deep Pours:
For installations over ½” deep, 3/8 inch clean pea gravel or large silica sand may be mixed  with LP-600.  Once mixed, the final product should be completely wetted out and stiff; showing no bleeding of liquid.

Thinner Mixes:
For skim coating, a wetter mix is used.  Liquid should never be allowed to separate from powder.

Mixing Instructions:
Pour the LP-600 powder into 1 gallon of LP-600 liquid and mix with a ½ inch, 850 RPM drill.  Blend until mixture becomes homogeneous and contains no lumps.  Depending on your application, the finished product is adjusted by adding more liquid or additional powder.

Installation:
Usual applications of LP-600 are applied in ¼” increments.
