Product Description:
Concure SL-1 can be used as an underlayment, concrete topping or a finished floor. SL-1 can be installed over concrete, wood, ceramic tile, epoxy, urethane, terrazzo, and bituminous substrates. SL-1 is a Portland based polymerized self-leveling cement. SL-1 is gypsum free cement, and does not promote mold, mildew or discoloration of finished flooring systems during long term use. SL-1 can be pumped or bucket poured and is truly self-leveling. It needs no tools for smoothing. It may be walked on, as early as, three hours after installation.

Basic Use:
Concure SL-1 as an underlayment meets or exceeds all requirements by the Floor Covering Industry. SL-1 is used to create a smooth, flat and/or level surface. It can be feathered down to zero or poured up to a depth of 6 inches. Pea gravel should be used as needed in thicker installations SL-1 is used as concrete topping for the resurfacing of rough or damaged concrete. It is ideal for leveling pre-stressed concrete planking. The SL-1 will create dust-free, abrasion-resistant cement topping, which is able to

withstand the weight of pallet jacks; forklift traffic and dynamic rolling loads.

Multipurpose Use:
SL-1
can be used as a skim coat or non-shrink grout, and is trowelable for general concrete repair. SL-1's high quality formula also enables the cement to be installed as a finished floor, whether it is for commercial and/or industrial use. SL-1 can be used with all types of adhesives and floor covering; Le. vinyl, rubber, wood, PVC backed carpeting and laminates.

limitations:
Do not install at temperatures less than 45°.

SL-1 is water sensitive, do not over water. In cold weather installation such as 50 degrees less water can be used per bag and for hot weather installations such as 80 degrees with high humidity you can increase the water levels by 1/10 of a gallon to you meet your desired flow and workability.

For spread rates please refer to SL-1 Technical Service Sheet.

Surface Preparation:
Substrates should be clean, dust free, structurally sound and free of excessive movement, waxes, sealers, release agents, or any foreign matter that would act as a bond breaker. Adhesive residues should be thin, well bonded, and hard. It is the responsibility of the applicator to determine that the integrity of the substrate is suitable for a quality application.

Deep Pours:
Clean, dry 3/8-inch pea gravel is recommended to fill the base of any deep pour or large void. Pour the SL-1 on top of the lightly damp pea gravel to obtain the desired height or level.

Priming:
All surfaces must be primed with
Concure P-1 Primer. For installations over hard adhesive, use Concure P-2 Primer. Spread rate is approximately 200-400 square feet per gallon, depending on porosity of substrate. Apply the primer by spray, broom, and roller or by using a sprinkler can. Broom the primer across the substrate and let it dry.

Mixing Instructions:
Pour the SL-1 powder into 6 qt. of water and mix with a 1/2 inch 850 RPM drill. Blend until mixture becomes homogeneous and contains no lumps. Do not over water. For best results, pour each bucket consecutively to achieve a continuous pour.

Pumping:
Water should always be in the mixer first before the powder. Mix until smooth with no lumps then release. All pump types should be non-piston type. Best results are with a progressive cavity type pump.
